A private correspondence club for Americans and Scots

A private correspondence club for Americans and Scots

For the Love of Tartan™ is a moderated membership circle for people drawn to letters, heritage, friendship, and meaningful connection across the water.

Some threads cross oceans.

The problem is not finding people online.

The problem is finding the right room.

Americans and Scots are already reaching for each other in Facebook groups, comment sections, travel pages, football conversations, genealogy spaces, and pen pal posts.

But those spaces are not built for meaningful connection.

They are public, noisy, unmoderated, and often uncomfortable. A simple wish for friendship or correspondence can quickly turn into unwanted messages, pressure, scams, romantic fishing, or strange comments from people who do not understand the room.

For people who want something slower, safer, and more intentional, there has not been an obvious place to go.

For the Love of Tartan™ was created for that place.

This is not a dating app.

It is not a public Facebook group.

It is not a visa service, immigration service, financial assistance platform, or marketplace.

For the Love of Tartan™ is a private, moderated correspondence club for Americans and Scots who want a better way to begin.

Members apply before entering. The room has rules. Introductions are intentional. Connection is allowed to move slowly.

Letters. Stories. Shared heritage. Thoughtful friendship. The possibility of something more, without pressure, performance, or spectacle.

The Tartan Letter Club™

The Tartan Letter Club™ is the private membership circle within For the Love of Tartan™.

Founding members receive access to private correspondence prompts, member notes, moderated introduction opportunities, and future invitations as the circle grows.

Founding Membership is open during the first season. Applications are reviewed in the order received, and approved members are admitted in waves as the room opens.

A room with rules.

The room is protected so connection can remain human.

Members agree to the house rules before entering. Money requests, fake profiles, harassment, unsolicited explicit content, immigration promises, visa pressure, manipulative behavior, and unwanted romantic pressure are not allowed.

This is a place for decent people to reach each other without walking through the creepy hallway first.

This may be for you if...

You feel drawn to Scotland or America in a way that is hard to explain.

You are interested in letters, heritage, travel, friendship, family names, football conversations, cultural exchange, or meaningful connection across the water.

You want something more intentional than a public group and more human than an app.

You believe some conversations deserve a slower beginning.
