Profile photos

Each member profile may include one profile photo.

At signup or member onboarding, members may be encouraged to submit a clear, recent photo of themselves so we can support trust, safety, and human review. This helps us reduce fake profiles, bots, impersonation, and scam behavior.

A profile photo is not used for public browsing, swiping, rating, or dating-app-style matching.

Profile photos submitted through private intake forms may be used for internal review, safety, and future moderated introduction purposes.

Photos submitted through private intake forms are not publicly visible to other members unless profile visibility is enabled inside the private member room or you consent to having your photo shared as part of a moderated introduction.

For moderated introductions, a clear and current profile photo may be required before an introduction is offered.

Images shared inside the member room

Members may share appropriate images in posts inside the private member room if they choose.

Appropriate images may include travel photos, landscapes, books, textiles, tartan, historic places, ordinary life, pets, food, events, or personal photos members are comfortable sharing.

Explicit images are not allowed.

Members may not upload, post, send, or imply sexual, nude, suggestive, fetish-based, harassing, threatening, or unwanted intimate images.

Members may not use fake photos, celebrity photos, impersonation images, misleading profile images, or images that do not represent them.

Members may not post another person’s image without permission.

Any explicit image, unsolicited sexual image, or image used to pressure, shame, harass, or sexualize another member may result in immediate review, restricted access, removal from the room, or termination of membership.

Member profiles and private spaces

If you join the private member room, information you add to your member profile may be visible to other approved members inside that private space depending on the settings of the community platform.

Please do not post information in the private member room that you would not want other approved members to see.

We may review member activity if needed to enforce house rules, investigate reports, or protect the room.
